Artist's Biography

Born in 1953, Brigus, Newfoundland, David Connolly has spent many comfortable moments, meticulously encapsulating the essence of his homeland. A predominantly self taught artist, David Connolly has spent the time to remind us of the beauty that is Newfoundland. Though he is currently residing in downtown Toronto, he often sneaks away to visit the rolling bluffs, quaint houses and frothing waves of his home. Having a deep appreciation of the natural beauty of the landscape and the traditional architecture of Newfoundland. After a short stint at The Toronto School of Art David decided to dedicate all of his time to the pursuit of art, and we would have to say, he’s looking in the right place.
