Got the opportunity to work on some awfully fun pieces recently, a somewhat long journey into the realm of nostalgia, great works of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Roger Rabbit, and even a little bit of Huckleberry Hound and Yogi The Bear. Check out all the nifty pieces from the Cartoon Glory days!
These Cutout stand ups have a nice way of being displayed, instead of the standard "place on shelf" approach. The bag it came in was in poor shape, which in turn completely obscured what was inside. So, we carefully removed the bag and staples, storing them in the back of the frame just in case. Placed both label and stand ups in a shadow box with an extra deep cool silver frame.
I can only vaguely remember this commercial from the 80's, "Superman Peanut Butter, It's Strength is its Great Taste" I don't think they do this sort of product promotion anymore.

A pair of scenes from Disney's "Pinocchio" movie from 1940, both were in pretty good shape, some light bubbling from the celluloid, but nothing a shadow mat couldn't fix.
Both finished with a Distressed Grey/blue Wood Frame.
Remember when Disney used to use that MasterpieceTheatre introduction with numerous of their movies and shorts, this supposedly the largest still of Mr. Toad that has surfaced in a very long time, or so the appraisers have exclaimed. The still is from "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mister Toad" 1949. This piece had to undergo a little bit of restoration it was suffer from some heavy acidic damage when it was brought in.
Four stills from Disney's Dumbo from 1941, I don't know what it is, but there has always been something endearing about the Dumbo character. These pieces were framed the same in a distressed iron wood frame.
This was pretty neat, the decal seen on the side of Herbie from the movie "The Love Bug" 1968.
Betty Boops cameo appearance in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" framed in a two layer ornate black lacquer frame.
